Ordering and Shipping

How do I place an online order?

Ordering from Strip District Meats online is easy and secure. Our shipping costs are calculated by weight and zip code.  We have learned that shipping costs may only vary a few dollars if ordering two or ten items.  Click the “Add to Cart” button beside each item to add it to your shopping cart.  When we pack shipments, we pack them utilizing both dry ice and ice packs.

How will my perishable items arrive, when ordered online and shipped?

We take careful precautions and special care in the packaging and shipping of our orders. Each order is packed and prepared for shipment the day the order is scheduled to ship. We use 2 inch thick styro-foam coolers, ice packs, and dry ice to keep the items safe and in good condition.  We also pack the coolers according to the transit time involved for delivery to your home; some shipments require more ice than others.  During the last 24 hours of the transit, the ice packs may be somewhat melted and dry ice may evaporate, leaving an empty paper bag in your box. Ice packs will keep the contents cool, till the shipment is delivered, and should be refrigerated immediately.

Can my delivery be shipped to a business or home address?

Your order can be delivered to a commercial or residential address as long as all correct shipping information is entered during the order process. Please note that some shipping methods for residential deliveries do not require a signature therefore your shipment box could be placed outside of the residence. How do I ship to a business address?

Click the bullet for business delivery, and add the Company name.  This is very important, A BUSINESS ADDRESS WILL NOT GET A DELIVERY ON A SATURDAY.  We will check the transit time and ship to arrive MONDAY THRU FRIDAY ONLY!  You will receive a e-mail from FedEx with your tracking number and estimated day of delivery, on the day we ship no later than 6 pm Eastern Time.

Can I place my order online and pick it up?

Yes, as you place the order, you can select “local pickup” as a shipping option.  This option removes the shipping costs, and places your order for pick up.  Orders can be placed Monday – Friday by 10 am, for pick up the following day.

You may call 412-391-1762 to place an order, or  fax orders to 412-765-2453. Please include all billing and shipping information and we will contact you during normal business hours.

Can I send a Gift Message with my order?

Click the “Order Notes” box on the check-out page, please write in your special notes for delivery or gift message. We will not include a invoice in gift packages,even if you do not request a card in the check-out. (We know it is a gift when the Bill-to address and the Ship-to address is different.) Please keep message to a few words, we will copy and paste your message on a gift card.

Strip District Meats Return Policy

We guarantee that every product you order from Strip District Meats online will arrive in safe condition. In the event of damage, please email christie@stripdistrictmeats.com and we will replace the product if applicable. Please include your invoice number for easy reference! Please keep all packaging and the shipment box and maintain any product as appropriate until order resolution.

 Shipping Information

Orders ship with FedEx within 48 HOURS, when your order is received MONDAY through THURSDAY.

Shipping days at Strip District Meats do NOT include Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays.

FedEX does NOT delivery to HOMES on MONDAYS!

If your order contains perishable food, our staff will check the Fed Ex transit times to your state.  We will not ship, unless we know your package will reach it’s destination before the weekend, or in some cases Holidays!  If your order does not coincide with delivery schedules, shipments will be held back over the weekend and shipped on the following Monday

Shopping Cart Summary-You may modify your shopping cart at any time by changing the order quantity or removing items from your shopping cart.

Billing Information-You will be asked to enter your billing name and address in this section.

Ship to Address-You will be asked to enter your Ship To address in this section if different from your billing address. Our shopping cart allows for only one shipment location per order. If multiple shipment locations are desired, you will need to place individual orders. Please note that all orders are shipped via FedEx, we can not deliver to a P.O. Box or APO address.  Perishable items are only shipped within the U.S. Please see map of the United States under Shipping Info for normal ground shipping or home delivery times.

Order overview and Shipment Details-This section will display what is in your shopping cart and provide you with a bullet menu for shipment options ranging from overnight shipments to ground or home delivery, remember if you live on the West Coast of the U.S we only ship 2 days freight due to the perishable nature of the product. Strip District Meats ships perishable items so the arrival time will be by Friday (or Saturday if a residence), otherwise we will hold these items back till the following Monday to assure the best quality,(please check map for shipping times). We ship all orders via FedEx and fulfill all orders within 48 hours of receipt. We will fulfill an overnight order for shipment the same day if placed by 10:00 AM EST. If you have special shipment requirements, click the ORDER NOTES box on the check-out page and enter all your requests. Please review the map of the United States under Shipping/Ordering info for delivery times to your area.

Complete your Transaction-Continuing on the same page as the order overview and shipment details you will scroll down – be sure to check all the billing and shipment information you have entered (if you notice a mistake – click on edit next to the billing or shipping detail and make the appropriate changes). You will then be directed to PayPal for payment and click on Submit Order. Your order is complete and  will be fulfilled through a secure connection that encrypts your credit card and other information for your protection. You will receive within 5 minutes an order confirmation via email. Please keep this confirmation as your receipt of sale.

Please Note: Your credit card will show your order as a AUTHORIZATION (auth) through PayPal to  “Strip District Meats”, we will only charge your card when the order is shipped.
